Friends of Sandcross

Welcome to the Friends of Sandcross

Friends of Sandcross exists to help create a sense of community to raise money for Sandcross Primary School.  Our aim is to enable all the children to participate in activities and to have access to a wide range of resources and equipment.

As the parent, carer or teacher of a child at Sandcross School, you are automatically a member of Friends of Sandcross and you can play as big or small a part as you would like.  There are opportunities throughout the year to offer your support, including helping out at new Parent Induction Evenings, serving on Ice Cream Fridays, volunteering for events or stepping forward at the AGM to join the committee.

This year, Friends of Sandcross have agreed to help subsidise some shade sails for the playing fields.  These will benefit all of the children on hot days as they will provide shade for outdoor lessons and during all playtimes.

The more parents we have actively helping, the more events we can run.  This means more events that foster community and more money raised for the school - please get in touch with us!  For details of future events, please see the 'Events Calendar' below.
